FOR THE FUTURE
When once the trees
still grew here
grasses flowered
flowers sung
unto high heaven
for rain after sun
The earth was
still earthen
the wind chased
it's sheep
through the blue field
Where swallows
grazed insects
caught in
a sun cage
Flies flew
like lightning
pollen painted
the sky yellow
ants crawled round
plied with nectar.
