BIOGRAPHY

Jürg Halter born in Bern (Switzerland) in 1980, is a poet, freestyler, prose writer, and co-publisher and editor of the Swiss literary and arts magazine 'art.21-zeitdruck'. At the German National Poetry Slam 2000 in Düsseldorf he gained second place in the finals for teams, with his fellow Swiss poets Tom Combo and Suzanne Zahnd. In March/April 2001 he toured The Netherlands with the All Star Slam Tour and on 20 July 2001 he was a participant in the Third Poetry International Poetry Slam in Rotterdam. In November 2001 he was writer-in-residence at the Literary Festival De Wintertuin in Arnhem and Nijmegen.

Halter lives in the picturesque town of Bremgarten.
